AWS Thinkbox helps creative studios and visual artists scale your creativity on premises, hybrid, or on the cloud. AWS Thinkbox develops Deadline, a high-volume compute management software application that helps studios optimize and scale their compute resources, as well as a series of 3D plugins and applications that help artists and studios tackle complex looks and tasks. By providing a conduit to AWS and near-limitless compute capacity, AWS Thinkbox helps creative professionals scale up and down elastically while maintaining artistic control of your project.

AWS Thinkbox tools have been at the core of award winning projects, music videos, commercials, and hundreds of hours of creative content spanning film, broadcast, commercial, marketing, games, and web content. In addition to Media & Entertainment, AWS Thinkbox tools are used in the Architecture (CAD/CAM), Engineering, Manufacturing, and non-clinical Medical Visualization industries to create, visualize, and modify datasets as large as city streets and as small as microscopic cells.

AWS Thinkbox Deadline is a hassle-free hybrid administration and compute management software for Windows, Linux, and mac OS based render farms, supporting more than 80 different content creation applications out of the box.

04_Sequoia.jpg

AWS Thinkbox Sequoia quickly and efficiently creates geometry from point cloud data acquired from laser scanners, photogrammetry and other sources. Compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms, it easily handles large data sets exceeding system memory while remaining interactive. Native integration with AWS Thinkbox Deadline enables point cloud and mesh processing across multiple compute nodes.

02_Krakatoa.jpg

Designed to process and render millions and even billions of particles, AWS Thinkbox Krakatoa provides a pipeline for acquiring, caching, transforming, modifying, shading, and rendering vast quantities of particles. Krakatoa helps artists render natural phenomena like dust, smoke, ocean foam, viscous liquids, and even solid objects to production quality standard.

The easy-to-use particle simulator for Autodesk 3ds Max. AWS Thinkbox Stoke includes an extensible procedural geometry modifier, adding artist-friendly channel-editing workflows similar to node-based image compositing applications.

03_Frost.jpg

Frost generates a single mesh from particles, vertex clouds, object positions and point data files using various iso-surface and geometry cloning techniques. Taking full advantage of multi-core processors, Frost is able to produce polygon meshes from millions of points in a matter of seconds without excessive memory usage. Frost is available for Autodesk 3ds Max.
